About Sandra Poliakov
Through all the countries I’ve lived in, I’ve carried many colors, cultures, and memories with me. I paint because I needed a world of my own, a place of calm and belonging. Becoming a mother changed everything; it made me see the world slower, more deeply. My paintings grow from that slower seeing: quiet mornings, bright tables, and moments where women are both tender and strong. I paint to belong. I paint lively places where I feel safe and whole. I paint to honor the women I come from, and the woman I am now.
